The BBQ Beach in Toyosu is a delightful barbecue spot/restaurant located along Tokyo Bay. This restaurant offers the perfect setting for outdoor gatherings and relaxation in the summer and is well-equipped with barbecue facilities. It's an ideal spot for friends and families to enjoy a day of grilling, picnicking, and basking in the sun!
My experience
We visited the BBQ Beach in Toyosu this past summer. The venue caters to groups of all sizes and has separate areas you can book depending on your the size of your party, including areas on the lawn by the water outlooking the bay! I recommend making reservations in advance as the place is quite popular during the summer. Each area comes with a grill, tongs, and aluminum trays for you to barbecue with, so all you need to do is bring the food!
The restaurant also offers a service to prepare food in advance for you beforehand, although if you have a large party, it's probably easier and cheaper to bring your own food. They even have a kitchen area to the side, where you can prep any ingredients if needed! We decided to just order in advance from the venue, so our food was all prepared by the time we arrived to our seats, which was really nice and convenient!
The check-in process for the restaurant was really easy! We just scanned the QR code in the front, which told us our seating number and walked over to our assigned table.
All of the ingredients came in small baggies already cut up for us, so all we needed to do was grill our food. No prep needed! The meat was a little tough but the seasoning was so yummy. I'm just glad we didn't need to prepare or bring anything beforehand.
The venue is overlooks Tokyo Bay and has a gorgeous view of Rainbow Bridge. There is also a small promenade so you can walk down by the water!
Just note that Tokyo is so hot during the summer and there's also a ton of heat inside the tents radiating from the grills, so be sure to stay hydrated when you visit!
